Previously this deal expired on 9/9/2024. It has been extended to 10/31/24.

Deposit $25k with 30 days of opening and maintain from days 31-90. Bonus posts after 14 days after completion. Assuming one transfers in 5 days before the end of the 30 day period and withdraws it 14 days after the 60 day maintenance period, this results in an effective APY of 14.6%.

The Wednesday Morning Weekly — July 10, 2024

Normally I write an in depth article for the weekly Wednesday morning post, but haven’t been feeling that well the past several days. So instead, today I’ll share this incredible deal I just now found from Danny the Deal Guru’s web site.

When signing up for a Chime Checking account, as part of the application process they have you check some checkboxes agreeing to Terms of Service. Often people just blindly click all the checkboxes to get through an application more quickly.

Chime sneaks in a Credit Builder Secured Credit Card application as part of this “Terms of Service” agreement for the checking account. In my opinion, this is deceptive and they shouldn’t be allowed to do this, but I am no lawyer.

Currently when one purchases an Amazon eGift card on Pepper they give you 4x (4%) cashback in form of Pepper coins — which can be used to redeem for more eGift cards on Pepper. If one uses an ABG to pay for this eGift card they get an additional 4x MR. If one values Amex MR at 1 CPP this means it is an additional 4% CB. This results in a guaranteed 8% CB.

But Pepper has lately been offering 10x boosts on many gift cards such as Amazon, Walmart, Sam’s Club, etc.

Update 9/5/2024. I am now listing multiple accounts within a bank object rectangle in my diagram — for a few accounts. E.g. a line for checking and a line for savings. I put the approximate balances in K dollars on each line. Sometimes I might have to make the rectangle larger to accommodate three accounts within the same bank. For CD account dollar amounts I use a very faint orange instead of the typical orange font color, since this money isn’t as liquid. See towards end of document for screenshot of what I am talking about.

In this bank account bonus hunting hobby, I found by having a large number of bank & brokerage accounts open at any given time it can become quite unmanageable unless I have a few things in place. However with all the above, one thing I was missing was a diagram of how all the bank accounts are linked together.

Most already know this, but one can make a call to Chase and have them transfer credit limit from one Chase Ink Business card to another.

I am told that $500 is the minimum to be left on a particular card — I personally usually leave a minimum of $1000 to $2000 on any given card.

This works between the Ink Cash, Ink Unlimited as well as Ink Preferred — to and from.

However with the Chase Ink Premier, you can only transfer credit limit to it, NOT from it. Additionally you cannot transfer UR from the Chase Ink Premier to another card, but you can cash it out a 1 CPP.
