I never saw this before. A friend pointed out to me Amazon now offers a Frequency Auto-Reload option. For example you can have it auto-reload $5 weekly or even daily. EDIT: Apparently this feature has been around for a while and we just never noticed it.
I am testing this out now on my Amazon Prime Card, $5 every week, starting today:
After a couple weeks I should see two $5 transactions, then I’ll cancel.
I can cancel by going to Gift Card Balance page and Modify or Delete the Auto-Reload setting.
Seems as though it’d be a handy tool for automatically meeting debit card swipe requirements for bank account bonuses. I can set a calendar event with alert when it is time to delete this auto-reload on Amazon — important to do so as I don’t want to overdraw an account with a low balance.
